TitleLetter from R T [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook, the National Physical Laboratory, Bushy House, Teddington, Middlesex, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorGlazebrook; Sir Richard Tetley (1854-1935); British physicist
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date31 July 1909
DescriptionThanking Larmor for his letter, noting that he requested to see him at the R.S. [Royal Society] and was told that Larmor was at Helen's Bay. He hopes the Royal Society will take the matter up. He notes the idea to increase the Gassiot Fund but Glazebrook thinks that the Treasury should perhaps be consulted. He thanks Larmor for suggestions and he has consulted Shaw, who does not return from Canada until October. He discusses the difficulties in timings to get the report through committee before it is to late to get to the Treasury.
