TitleLetter from Arch [Archibald] Geikie, Shepherd's Down, Haslemere, Surrey, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorGeikie; Sir Archibald (1835-1924); British geologist and historian
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date14 December 1917
DescriptionIt is a long time since they last met and Geikie may try to travel to London next week. In his last letter Larmor mentioned that he had written to the President of Queen's [College] to say that Cambridge University Press could have the Michell memoir. Geikie has not heard back and wonders if the Royal Society Proceedings might have it as an Obituary Notice. Geikie is regaining strength thanks to 'electric battery and massage' and he hopes that Larmor is well.
