| Description | He encloses an interesting letter from [Victor] Cremieu who 'sticks to his guns' despite [Harold] Pender's article. He prposes to repeat his experiments publicly in reply to Pender. Cremieu wrote a fortnight ago to the local secratries at Glasgow, to repeat his experiment at the Glasgow meeting [of the British Association] and it was eventually sent to Gray by Griffith in London. Cremieiu wanted the sole use of the laboratory for some weeks and the installation of a two horsepower motor. Gray could not manage it, with the laboratory in uproar, and beign put on order for Section A. He told Cremieu not to attach importance to Gray's experiments, which he does not think to publish unless repeated more carefully. He concludes with a brief account of his holiday. |
