Creator | Huggins; Sir William (1824-1910); British astronomer |
Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
Date | 4 August 1909 |
Description | Huggins will send the Jupiter plates with plenty of time to Larmor. He has sent copiesof his Jupiter drawings to [Percival] Lowell in exchange for Lowell's photographs, and is happy for the drawings to be used by Lowell or Larmor. He did not intend for Larmor to present them at Winnipeg but he is welcome to do so, as these drawings have never been published or shown. [Hugh Frank] Newall is arranging for the telescope and instruments to be removed to Cambridge at the end of the month. |
