RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date9 February 1909
DescriptionHe is sorry to load Larmor with another paper so soon, but he intends to communicate a work by an ex-student. 'The measurement of dielectric constants by torsional vibration...', by Professor W.M. [William Mandell] Thornton of Armstrong College, Newcastle. Lodge will enclose two letters received from Thornton, one of which was in response to Lodge's objections made before reading the paper, the other answering his points.
