DescriptionLorentz and his wofe have accepted the invitation from [Joseph John] Thomson nd his wfe to stay at Cambridge before the 30th. He cannot stay with Larmor, therefore, although he would have been happy to do so. He hopes the and Larmor will have long talks, and he would be delighted to accept the honour of dining with the Master and Fellows of St. John's. He would not wish to interfere with any arrangements that Thomson may have made and leaves things in their hands. He will not reply to the formal card of invitation, hpong that this will not be uncivil.
