| Description | He has Larmor's letter and Rawlinson has telegramed to say he can meet the Committee on Saturday. When he heard of Sorley's and Gray's action, he told them 'they ought to be shot'. They are together now, and the realisation that invoking Statutes but not Ordinances would not do. Geoffrey Butler was upset by the attitude of women after he had said in Senate that women had agreed to his compromise. Ridgeway notes his own letter in the Cambridge Review, which Marriott agreed with. |
