NotesAccording to the published reports of the expedition [see 'National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904: Physical Observations (1908)], these measurements were taken on a Milne seismograph (instrument number 37) supplied by instrument maker Robert William Munro. Observations were recorded by Louis Bernacchi, and John Milne FRS wrote the discussion of the results in the published volume.
