| Description | Sandwich has acquired a box of Egyptian medals by the Ruxley Galley from Alexandria. They are currently at customs and he asks Folkes to withdraw them on his behalf and keep them until Sandwich next sees him. Recounts an experiment of a toad was placed in an air pump; when the air was drawn out maggots came out of the toad's nostrils and when the air was restored the maggots retreated the same way. |
