DescriptionView of three figures and a horse making their way up a slope on Isla Navarino. Expedition member William Watters is seen at the back of the group, with a guide leading the horse shown in front of him. The horse is loaded with a tent and supplies for setting up a camp in the hills. The figure at the front of the group is Dr Hans Katz, a Swiss petroleum geologist based at Punta Arenas and working for ENAP (Empresa Nacional del Petroleo), who joined the expedition party for the exploration of Isla Navarino. In the background of this image, Puerto Williams can be seen in the distance, at the top-right.
