Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to General [James Thomas] Walker, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 19 July 1895 |
Description | All that Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] means is that the chart shall be capable of being folded to the size of the page of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', that it shall be printed on paper not too soft to bear folding, and that if there is any headline on the plate belonging to another publication this shall be omitted so that the Society can print its own headline in its place. It will be a great saving if Walker can obtain them these charts from India. |
