Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 12 February 1897 |
Description | Harrison received Lankester's note the previous night, and will not discuss the question of summoning his Committee beyond saying that in future he will give notice of any length determined by Lankester and the Committee. The Physiology Committee has its notices sent out on the Saturday preceding their Thursday meeting.
Harrison will bring to the Committee the Register of certificates, which he hopes will serve their purpose. Should he wish to consider them before the meeting, they will need to make a copy of the register. If Lankester wishes, Harrison can make a rough selection from it, excluding those with no connection with zoology.
The only papers to bring before the Committee are one by Grassi and Willey to be reported as already passed, and Alex Brown on Lineus gesserensis for consideration. |
