Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Michael Foster, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 28 June 1897 |
Description | Harrison has started to circulate the Tsetse Fly documents and received them back from the President this morning but Harrison does not understand what Foster means by 'Kanthack's further report' mentioned in Harrison's rough note.
Foster will have received Council Minutes this morning. Harrison was obliged to proceed with them without waiting to send Foster the first proof as time is pressing. Professor [Arthur William] Rucker sent them to the Society.
Is sorry the envelope containing letters for Foster's signature arrived in the state described. Harrison has enquired into the matter but it seems pure accident, almost inseparable from the pressure to which matters have to be dealt with with a Soiree, Council meeting, weekly meeting and a big Committee are all crowded into three consecutive days. |
