| Description | The delay in the appearance of Professor Osborne's paper is due partly to the inevitable delay attached to the publication of papers in the vacation, when many people are away. But it partly also down to the the practice of keeping the numbers of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' as nearly as possible to a uniform size and printing papers in the order in which they are received. Professor Osborne's paper is first in the new number of 'Proceedings' now being made up, which it is hoped will be published next week. |
