Gollanoz that yesterday the President and Council of the Royal Society considered appointing a Committee to cooperate with the British Academy for the purposes of considering a suggestion of the 'Comite de l'Entente cordiale' in Paris to promote the closer relationship between the two countries. The President and Couincil agreed on the following Fellows to be appointed to cooperate with the British Academy: Sir William Crookes, Sir Archibald Geikie, Sir Ray Lankester, Sir William Ramsay and Professor Sherrington. |
