Title | Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [William Whitehead] Watts, FRS |
Date | 3 November 1921 |
Description | Informs Professor [William Whitehead] Watts that he is unable to attend the Executive Committee of the Conjoint Board [of Scientific Industries] on November 9th. Explains that it has become clear that he disagrees with the majority of the Executive Committee on many fundamental issues, and that his presence on the Committee serves only to interfere with its smooth running. Therefore, asks that Professor Watts accept his resignation from the Executive Committee.
[Watts served as the Treasurer and Secretary of the Conjoint Board of Scientific Industries from 1917-1923.] |
