| Description | Rix reports that Miss Goold is due to see Miss Chambers at midday the following Thursday, and he will arrange with her to be present at 3.30pm to see Evans. The Library Committee is due to meet at 4pm. If Evans wishes to change these arrangements, he should inform Rix before Thursday.
He also sends thanks for the efforts Evans has taken about their charwoman. Mrs Kennedy has stated that the extra help is wanted early in the morning, and so believes the best and simplest solution would be to give the woman they currently employ a pay rise from 12 to 15 shillings, and ask her to begin at an earlier hour. |
