Other topics are highly varied. There are some court reports and letters to the editors of the various newspapers are also collected, including Margaret Huggins on the Alfred Jewel (p.43). Some ephemera is present.
Generally, the cuttings are attributed to the source newspaper and dated in manuscript. The volume contains blank pages, usually the verso pages of the book. A paper label on the cover is inscribed: 'February 26 1901-February 9 1903. Royal Society Scrap Book. General.' |
