Description | Sectional Committee: Botany
Encloses response to the author's statement. 'I will only say that it is the most audacious attempt I have known at theft of another man's work, and he must not be allowed to get away with it'. The author claims that the work of Lillie was purely theoretical. The author has referred to the theory of Lillie, but not the related results of the referee Reginald Ruggles Gates, both of which deserve reference.
