TitleReferee's report by Vincent Brian Wigglesworth, on a paper 'Fat combustion and metabolic of flying locusts (Schistocerca gregaria Forskal)' by T Weis-Fogh
Date11 December 1951
DescriptionSectional committee: Zoology

Paper reference code: B66

Recommended for publication in the Philosophical Transactions. Wigglesworth writes: 'For the most part the writing in this paper is adequate, but still requires careful and detailed editing. Many of the sentences require slight changes in the order of words in order that they should read smoothly. Although the contents of the paper are very good it should not be published in the Society's Transactions without careful editing'.
