| Description | He has received the enclosed from [Robert Henry] Scott, but he does not know what Judd's letter means. If there is a copy of the rules, he asks that it is sent to Scott, but they are scarce. Scott us referring to the continuation of the history and he supposes that Judd's letter must be entered into the book. It is important that the books are kept count of. He recvered the current one from Scott but thinks that he still has an older one, and some Philosophical Club material. The rapid change of Treasurers means that books could easily be overlooked. He has written to W G Adams, to ask him to be jointly responsible, with Scott, for the History. He approved and suggested [Thomas Edward] Thorpe as a possible Philosophical Club man. He has not met Thorpe on this, but believes that two heads are better than one. |
