TitleLetter from Robert H [Henry] Scott, Meteorological Office, 63 Victoria Street, London, to [John Whitaker] Hulke
CreatorScott; Robert Henry (1833-1916); Irish meteorologist
RecipientHulke; John Whitaker (1830-1895); British geologist
Date21 December 1891
DescriptionScott has received 125 copies of the sheets from Rix and has asked if he has copies of the supplement. If not, it should be reprinted. The book is to be sold to members at 10 shillings per copy, and the resolution must be revisited if they wish to sell it more cheaply. Sale of the bound copies came to an end and none were for sale by the time Scott came in 1880. If all members elected since 1876 bought a copy, they should receive £25. He thinks they can discuss the matter in person, rather than by letter, and asks when he, Hulke, and Judd can get together to consider the cost of joint Club dinners.
