Selected menus are variously inscribed with lists of attendees, draft minutes, seating plans, and some other notes, including: RSC/6/14/1 'Sir Ronald Ross made a formal communication on his scheme for "Rewards for Medical Services" '; RSC/6/14/6 'Dr. A. Scott exhibited a coloured reproduction of Gillray's "Scientific Researches..." '; RSC/6/14/8 'Dr. Patterson gave account of his new microbalance with quartz fibre suspension...'; RSC/6/14/13 English and Japanese signatures of Toshio Takamine, right and left hand and in mirror writing; RSC/6/14/16 'R. Chalmers Mitchell related some of his experiences in his Cairo-Cape flight...'; RSC/6/14/20 'Bateson spoke of possible reform of Royal Society...' and 'the Maharajah of Jhalawar [Bhawani Singh] spoke of scientific work in India and of the progress of his astronomical observatory'; RSC/6/14/22 'Recent advances in wireless telegraphy & recording by A.A.C. Swinton' and 'Recent discoveries in the Rhynie chert...by A.S. Woodward'.
