NotesPresented by A W Dollond, 1893. Although originally attributed to Richard James Garland (1815–1903), the style of this bust indicates it is more likely to be the finished marble version of a plaster sculpture exhibited by Charles Summers (1825-1878) at the Royal Academy in 1851.
