DescriptionConfusion concerning the application for travel funds to the IAU in Australia. Enclosed copies make clear what happened. Has now accepted the chairmanship of one session of a symposium, as well as the presentation of several papers, and to assist in the preparation of a paper by the Commission on the Moon for the future of lunar research. Understands that though this administrative error his application to Athay's committee is now too late, asks him to give consideration to Gold in the event of any cancellation or other possibilities.
