Description | Does not know what to make of the staff work, see enclosed letter Pomeroy to Gold, 20 December 1973. The present occurrence was after receiving a stream of erroneous information from that same office, as they discussed on 16 November.
Gold has assembled three sets of reprints, that he considered the main output of the Cornell lunar work and sent this to Dr Pomeroy on 15 October (about 600 pages). Gold asked to be sure tht precisely this material was submitted to the referees selected. It evidently was not, and they discovered two months later that it was all lost.
Gold does not know now what was submitted to the referees, and his confidence in the procedure is not high.
Gold though Naugle should be brought up to date on the state of affairs. |
