Would like sample of mud from ocean seep to investigate whether sulfate reduction-methane oxidation takes place.

Woudl also favour a conference on entire subject of methane oxidizers in the ground. Favors view of accumulating biomass in the ground. Interewsted in iron reduction by methane bacteria. Gave: Lynn Margulis, Boston University, Department of Biology, as best reference in this field.
