Description | Informs Swinton's previous two letters have arrived. Notifies she has sent Swinton a letter from John Old regarding the Agra Bank, requesting he returns it, and advise her about her £50. Glad that Swinton was able to get the Gibbons Home, emhpasising Swinton ought to be careful to get a safe house, and one that 'does not throw up its head!! as one once did in Blackadder park'. Glad to hear that the Home Ball lighting was a success and wnquires whether Swinton got Haggerston Castle lighting and as what capacity. Discusses her plans to go from Scarborough to Richmond. Enquires if John Sitwell has said anything about seeing about Blancke's[?] Objects before the are sold at Christie's? Informs she has bought the mahogany and brass lot. |
