Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to F. Parkinson |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 29 September 1927 |
Description | Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter and informs he went to Cambride to meet Mr Rye of Edmundsons. Rye admits there have not been any recent purchases of motors from Cromptons, apparently Edmundsons were put off by the prices Messrs Cromton quoted them, but they managed to obtain a considerable number of motors recently from Parkinson's firm. Informs that Rye would be glad to see Parkinson's Major Colley. |
