Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Flying Officer, H. N. Thornton, Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, W. 1. |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 20 December 1927 |
Description | Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter. Comments that allowing his mother £60 per year is quite proper if Thronton was to pay for it himself, but it seems the money he is allowing her in fact belongs to himself. He was under the impression that Thornton's mother had been provided from by Thornton's allowances from the Sandringham Estate, owing to his father's employment there. Complains about the way he has been treated. Requests that any documents he needs to sign to be send to him so he can consider the matter further. |
