| Description | Informs he met Colonel Sir Henry [George] Lyons and asked him what was happening. Lyons said that the matter was entirely out of his hands for the present, and in the hands of the Board of Works, who were making a new estimate with their original plan of the building long enough to contain the whole boat. Comments that Lyons appeared to be bored with the subject. States it is possible to write to the Board of Works but that the best course would be to wait for Sir Charles Parsons to return and then tell Lyons that Parsons had been asking what had been done. |
