CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date20 April 1928
DescriptionEncloses a copy of an article he wrote for publication in Modern Wireless, which deals with the question of television by cathode rays so far as he has followed the matter up to date. Comments that it is long and expresses his anxiety to get his views on the matter clearly published in a single paper. Discusses progress on the subject as he wants to get his own position as a pioneer suggester properly put forward. Informs that accompanying his paper is an illustration which is a modified form of the one published with his Radio Society paper of 1924. Hopes the paper can be published in its entirety in Modern Wireless and wishes to obtain a reprint. Seeks Edwards' view regarding his present article as he will be glad to consider making any modifications [enclosures not present].
