TitleLetter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Sir John Murray
CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date27 April 1928
DescriptionAcknowledges receipt of Murray's reply to his letter on television in the Quarterly. Informs he has had a letter from Mr. Brittain on 25 April, stating he has heard from Murray. He has yet to reply to Brittain and before doing so, wishes to know what he has replied to him as the letter was obviously intended as conciliatory, but makes several statements which are scarcely correct, and gives no indication of how he proposes to remedy the very misleading impression he has given to the numerous important readers of the Review.
