Description | Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter and informs that before he can reply dfinitely he must consult other Members of Council, including [Charles Algernon] Parsons, Dugald Clerk, and Redmayne, who are acting with him on the matter of Lord Askwith. Explains that the first idea was to get Sir Philip Magnus, Chairman, to see Lord Askwith on the matter, to be followed by drafting a letter to present to Askwith directly. Notifies that Lord Askwith published a letter in the Morning Post in defence of dog racing, to which he replied by writing a letter, but was instructed to modify his letter. |
