Lea, Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, informing that Lea is engaged in hydro-electric work in Canada and is interested in Cook's and Parsons' work connected with erosion due to cavitation in water, as they have considerable trouble of that kind in connection with their large water turbines for high falls with great water velocities. He promised Lea he would ask Cook to send him copies of papers on the subject, requesting that Cook fulfil this promise.
