TitleLetter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to [Lieutenant Colonel] Kenelm Edgcumbe, Collindale Works, Hendon, N. W.
CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date7 July 1928
DescriptionInforms he has received a letter from Alexander Russell who told him that Edgcumbe accompanied him to a recent demonstration of Baird's Television and that he is contemplating asking Baird to take part in a discussion to give a demonstration on the subject at a meeting of the Institution. Wishes to discuss the matter with Edgcumbe before this conversation is had, mentioning the associated stock exchange swindling. Maintains that it is overall unfit to be asked into the Institution of Electrical Engineers at all and is keen to meet and discuss the matter in person.
