Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Llewellyn B. Atkinson [Esquire] |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 7 March 1929 |
Description | Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter and is glad that Atkinson took no offence at his remarks. Cannot believe that the Television Society was founded by the Baird people in the hope tha some amateur would discover something which they could not, as it appears to him that further researches in television are much more a subject for a fully equipped research body. Notifies he has just written another letter on television to The Times, in reply to a statement in the papers by Colonel Malone. |
