Does not know what was settled but mentions he wrote a letter which appeared in the Electrician for 10 May, enclosing a copy, which he believes ought to be presented before Council before the arrive at a final decision. Discusses the Abstract of Patents appended to the second volume of "Electrical Illumination" by James Dredge, and Mr St. George Lane Fox's patenting of an incandescence lamp with a filament formed of an alloy of platinum and iridium. |
