Description | Comments on Lodge's recommendation to the Soiree Committee of the Royal Society, made in capacity as a Member of the said Committee, that Baird be invited to show his Television apparatus at the last Soiree of the Royal Society. Draws attention to the letter he wrote, and subsequently had published, in Nature, pertaining to the fact that the principle of Baird's transmitter was actually patented by Nipkow in 1884, prior to Baird's birth. Encloses a copy of the letter, as well as a letter from A. Dauvillier confirming the patent [enclosures not present]. Comments he has written to various publications to ensure his facts are correct. |
