Title | Letter from Emery Walker, Emery Walker Limited, 16 Clifford's Inn, Fleet Street, London, E.C.4 |
Creator | Walker; Emery (1851-1933); English engraver, photographer and printer |
Date | 29 June 1923 |
Description | Apologises for a miscommunication mistake, explaining previously assuming Longmans publishers were only asking for an estimate. Glad to know that the original negatives are all available, referring to them as excellent portraits, asking if Swinton took them himself. States it would be better for Emery Walker to have the negatives for the purpose of making glossy prints, which owing to the absence of surface texture are best for re-photographing. |
