Description | Original poetry by Swinton comprising five poems, the first four presented in pamphlet format:
1) Forum Romanum 2) Roma Aeterna 3) "Magna est Veritas et Prevalebit" 4) Swinton Sic Liulf Habuit (2 copies) 5) Loose paper titled 'Composed in the train on leaving Kimmerghame', dated 3 November 1891. Tucked inside the poem is a newspaper cutting about Swinton. 6) "Sunt lachrimae rerum, et mantem mortalia tangunt". 7) Swinton's poem in reply to an elegy, with enclosed letter, 1904-1908. |
