11) Ink cartoon of Swinton, in the style of a previously published cartoon of Benjamin Disraeli which appeared in Punch magazine, on 28 February 1874, depicting Swinton as an angel holding a paper inscribed 'F.R.S', featuring the following poerm, by Lalla Rookh: 'Paradise and the Peri. Joy, joy for ever, my task is done, the gates are past, and heaven is won!', dated 13 May 1915. Likely to have been sent to Swinton upon his election as a Fellow of the Royal Society. The cartoon is unauthored but features Swinton's initials and therefore may have been executed by Swinton himself.
12) Knight of the Garter certificate of Captain George Sitwell Campbell Swinton, the brother of Alan Archibald Campbell Swinton, dated 18 November 1927 [oversized item].
