Description | Four figures in pencil, labelled figures 1-4, the first three showing a metal plate placed in an aqueous solution of salt in a tall glass. The figures show the process of decomposition and the second figure is labelled 'light blue', 'colourless' and 'dark blue' at various points on the side of the glass. The fourth figure shows the crystalline structures produced at the surface of the plate during the decomposition.
