DescriptionIn this covering letter, Warden describes the provenance of her method of teaching the consonants of the English language. She explains that her father-in-law invented the method and passed it on to her husband, who improved on the method but disappeared in a bout of alcoholism. She therefore wishes to present the method herself to the Royal Society.
