Title | Unpublished paper, 'A new method of determining freezing points' by Meyer Wildermann |
Creator | Wildermann; Meyer (fl 1896-1906) |
Date | 1896 |
Description | The subject of this paper is the best means of determining freezing points in dilute as well as in concentrated solutions. Two things have to be considered: the proper arrangement of equilibrium in the heterogeneous system, and the proper treatment of the instrument used for measuring temperature.
Subject: Chemistry / Physics / Thermodynamics
Received 13 January 1896. Read 6 February 1896. Communicated by Lord Kelvin.
Whilst the Royal Society declined to publish this paper in full, an abstract of the paper was published in volume 59 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society as 'A new method of determining freezing points'. |
