i. Sherard Manuscripts
Permission was granted to Mr G Pasti to have access to the five volumes of Sherard manuscripts and other relevant material in connexion with his research on William Sherard, FRS, subject to the usual acknowledgments being made in the evnt of publication.
ii. Henshaw Letter
Permisison was graned to Miss N D Gourlilc to quote from Henshaw letter No. 14 in volume H.3 of the manuscript archives in her proposed book on Iceland, subject to the usual acknowledgments being made on publication.

12. Other Business - Newton's Principia
By minute 17 of 30 November 1948, Couoncil agreed to the manuscript of Newton's Principia being transferred to the Public Record Office for rebinding.
Authority of Council is now required for provision to meet the following estimate by the Chief Binder of the Public Record Office;
'Newton's Principia. To "taking down", collation, sizeing, repairing leaves where necessary and guarding in preparation for re-binding in Vellum, stationery style or re-binding in natural Niger goatskin on flexible bands: £8.0.0 to £10.10.0 '
