a. Classified Papers
Permission was granted to Sir Edward Appleton to make extracts from the Royal Society's classified papers on various trades 1650-1700 and from other contemporary manuscript material, subject to the usual acknowledgments being made upon publications.
b. Oldenburg Manuscripts
Permission was given to Mr A R Hall to consult and make photographic copies of manuscript material in the Society's archives relating to Henry Oldenburgh for the purpose of a biography he intended to prepare, subject to the usual acknowledgments being made upon publications.
