Description | Heard of Dryander's death yesterday and condoles with Sir Joseph. Discusses a letter he has sent with extracts and also a letter from Berthollet that he has received respecting the Eau Medicinale. Quotes from Berthollet's letter on origin, usage and success of this medicine and on the sugar in grapes. The bearer of the letter assured Blagden that the Empress's pregnancy was certain. In a postscript notes that Captain Flinders and also Governor Bligh have arrived. |
