DescriptionDid not get lodgings at Lyme [Regis]. Mrs Curtis's health has vastly improved. Gives news of the social scene at Weymouth. Asks for information from Blagden about what the politicians think about the news from Boston, if the army have gained a victory there it is a dear one. Could not find out about Dr Leigh. Gives news of the Duchess of Portland and her Natural History collection - describes some of the specimens. Would like Blagden to send him news about American affairs.
