DescriptionReviews previous correspondence and details the expectations from the reports and collections which are to arrive from the 'Discovery'. The letter details ten expectations, including: magnetic observations, meteorological observations, reports on soundings and a determination of the specific gravity of the sea water. The letter also details what the reports will arrive with. The letter goes on to detail who the other reports should be referred to. The letter ends with a request for these suggestions to be forwarded from the 'Discovery' to the President and the Council of the Royal Society for approval.
